    Staunton Road Runners

    Staunton Road Runners aims to create a welcoming running environment for runners of all experience levels. They meet up Wednesday evenings at 6pm near the entrance to Staunton's Gypsy Hill Park. They host monthly challenges to keep you motivated and also host a Six Hour Endurance Run in the fall. The group is open to runners throughout the Shenandoah Valley.     Excel Rocktown Running

    Excel Rocktown Running was first created in 2015 to provide encouragement and support to runners of all skill levels who live, work, and play in and around the Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, VA area. It has grown to welcome visiting runners from other areas, too.

    You can join them every Saturday at 7:00 AM for a group run/walk, the primary starting location being 620 Neff Avenue, Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Check out their Facebook page for more details on this and other group road and trail run opportunities as they pop up.

    Shenandoah Valley Track Club (SVTC)

    The Shenandoah Valley Track Club (SVTC) is a running club that strives to bring together runners of all ages and abilities, to promote a social running community. The SVTC website covers races open to public participation at James Madison University, Eastern Mennonite University, Bridgewater College, and in the cities of Harrisonburg, Staunton, and Waynesboro, and in the Virginia counties of Rockingham, Augusta, Shenandoah, and Page.

    Purcell Parkrun

    We now have a parkrun! Parkrun is a FREE timed 5K community event EVERY Saturday at 9am. Parkrun is for all people & all paces. Walk, jog or run. Our local chapter meets at Purcell Park, Harrisonburg.
